The early tween & teen years are full of insecurities and comparison. I consider this an amazing time to BUILD up your kids' confidence. Parents, speaking from experience, you need all the tools in the toolbox to help get your kids through this phase, and that's where I come in! Here's what tweens & teens have told me they worry about before their shoot:

When my own two daughters were tween-teens, I remember it being such a hard age for them. Between feeling like an 'ugly duckling' to problems with friends and social pressure to act a certain way, the stress was intense. THIS was the age when my girls struggled the most to feel confident. That is why I specialize in photographing young people this age.

My mission is to show these youngsters exactly how us parents see them - how beautiful and special they truly are - even with braces and acne and extra weight around the middle. And let me tell you, there is truly NOTHING BETTER than when I am in the heart of a photoshoot with a teen or pre-teen and I show them a glimpse of the back of my camera and I hear their gasp and see that beautiful smile. I know I've done my job, I know they'll draw upon that moment for a good long time, and I can't ask for anything else than to feel that supreme level of satisfaction.

Our third appointment is your in-person Ordering appointment (for locals) where we get back together and I present the best of the best of your photos. During this appointment, you'll select your favorite photos and place your order.

Our second meeting is your fun-filled, creatively guided photoshoot (duration of shoot depends on locations, but are typically 2 hours in length) Posing is my superpower, ensuring everyone feels AND LOOKS great! I delight in working with all ages, shapes, and sizes.

I did my senior pictures with Jenn during our family's vacation to Fort Myers Beach. I really wanted something different.
Since I wanted a tropical look, Jenn suggested several of her favorite locations. She helped us plan outfits for each location, giving color & style suggestions, which was a huge relief to me and my mom. She basically mapped out my entire shoot, starting in her studio then outdoors - she made sure I got the tropical look I wanted plus some beach shots. But my favorites, by far, were our studio shots. Ask for the tulle skirts - you won't regret it!!! It was an unforgettable way to start my senior year!!
